Financial Executive Assistant

Expected Hire Date: March 15, 2007
(or sooner)

Cary financial services firm is looking for an exceptional, seasoned full time (33-40 hrs/wk.) Executive Assistant with a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of highly relevant work experience. The ideal candidate is a mature individual with several years of successful and highly responsible experience in a financial business – an investment company, a CPA office, a bank, or perhaps a law office. A CPA and/or CFP™ is an added plus.

  • cooperation and collaboration in a team environment
  • ability to willingly take and accurately follow specific direction
  • excellent office processes experience
 
Highly Preferred Experience:
  • knowledge/experience in the securities and/or insurance industries
  • experience working within a complex regulated environment
  • some knowledge of public relations and marketing
 
Position Responsibilities include:
  • complete investment service, financial planning and insurance support activities
  • communicate proactively with clients, investment companies and insurers to ensure completeness and accuracy of all forms
  • solve a myriad of daily problems and situations that routinely occur
  • process client data into web based data organizer system
  • maintain email lists and process batch emails
  • ensure all office equipment is properly maintained and functioning effectively
  • maintain appropriate inventory of all supplies and materials
  • provide staff support as required
